Brunswick valley
Sealed is not the same as wide, once you leave town
Stock held for Mullumbimby covers the town, the arms and Brunswick Heads, and the truck is quoted to the actual bend. Main Arm and Wilsons Creek are sealed for long stretches and still only a lane and a bit wide, benched into the hill. A 20ft is the honest length on plenty of them.
- Where it is loaded
- Shire allocation for town, the arms and the coastal strip
- What sets the day
- Town drops follow the round; valley drops wait on the weather
- Usual truck
- Tilt bed for the shorter boxes; a long shell only if the approach truly allows it

Arms
Kilometres to the first tight bend are not the measure
Main Arm Road, Wilsons Creek Road and the ways toward Huonbrook and Upper Coopers Creek have a bank on one side and a drop on the other. Driveways are cut into the slope and often end on a pad no wider than the house, with no circle to turn in. Camphor and regrowth sit low over the public road.

Weather
A causeway does not care about the diary
Up the valleys the booking sits where the weather allows. A causeway over, or a slip that leaves one lane, moves the day. We do not send a loaded rigid through either to keep an appointment. Town drops are less tied to that. Say which one you are.

Mould
Gear goes musty under this canopy
A shut box in warm, wet air grows mould on clothing, cardboard and anything stacked against the wall. Vents, a gap under the goods, and sunlight on the doors when you can get it slow that down. They do not make a sealed room dry.

First shed
No slab yet is a normal starting point
People put a shell down before the house because the tools have to live somewhere. The pad still has to be firm, and the truck still has to leave. A 10ft or a 20ft on a tilt bed is what most of these roads see. Buying fits that first lockup if it will still be there in five years.
Narrow roads, slips and mould
Main Arm is sealed. How far up is a truck still realistic?
Until the road gets too narrow, too steep, or the turnaround disappears. Sealed does not mean a long rigid fits. A 20ft is the usual ceiling. Send photos of the tightest bend and the pad, not a map pin.
A causeway is over, or a slip has the road in one lane. What happens?
The booking moves. We wait until a loaded truck can pass and turn. Town addresses are not held up by a valley slip. Valley addresses are. Tell us which morning the road reopened.
The block has no slab and sometimes no power. Is a container sensible?
For tools and building materials, yes, on a firm pad the truck can leave. For bedding and clothing, the humidity will win unless you vent it and accept it is a shed, not a room. Power can come later. A soft pad cannot.

Mullumbimby, Ocean Shores or Main Arm. The narrowest bend matters more than the distance.
